The mango picking and distribution project was undertaken as a relationship building exercise for Disability Life Enrichment at Rathmines.

A team of eight guys, all oldies, drove from Sydney and Brisbane, to a farm site near Townsville and picked approximately 9 tonne of mangoes and proceeded to wash and pack this delicious fruit for distribution to various charitable organisations. Nursing homes, disability carers, and food distribution charities were the beneficiaries of the project. Charities recognised included Cerebral Palsy, and many Disability care providers.

Special thanks to the farmers up north, who donated their crop to this project, specifically for the benefit of the underprivileged in our communities. Their generosity is much appreciated, as without their donation this project would not have been possible.

Delivery to the Soul Café in Newcastle. This is an outreach ministry by Life Church in Newcastle, providing a nourishing meal each day, completely free of cost, for the underprivileged and homeless.
