Confirmation of booking

Bookings will not be confirmed until a deposit has been made.

A deposit of 20% of anticipated fees or a minimum of $500 is required as a bond, which will be deducted from the final payment on departure, if the Centre is left in good condition.


Sole or Shared use

Small group bookings will be accepted; however, we reserve the right to book in other groups to share the centres facilities as needed.


Notice of cancellation

Deposits are refundable in full if cancellation is received before 3 months of the arrival date.

If notification is before 1 month, 50% refund will be given and 25% refund before 1 week.


Payment of Fees

All fees are payable on departure.


Property Damage and Loss

Any breakages and losses to the Centre’s property are to be reported immediately to the Centre Manager. The full cost of repairs will be payable.

The Centre accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.

No smoking, No Alcohol Policy.

Drinking of alcohol will not be permitted other than that supplied at an organised function. The group leader must accept responsibility for the appropriate use of alcohol. Drug use will not be permitted on the premises and smoking is prohibited in all buildings and surrounds.


Public Liability and Insurance

Catalina Conference Centre and its staff will endeavour to provide a safe environment for visitors but accepts no responsibility for loss, damage or injury as far as the law permits. All groups coming to Catalina Conference Centre should have their own Public Liability Insurance. A Certificate of Currency for your group’s Public Liability Insurance is to be forwarded to Catalina Conference Centre prior to arrival. If you are concerned, you should consult your Insurance Advisor and obtain the appropriate insurance cover.


On Departure

All rooms, including conference and games room, should be left in a clean and tidy condition.

Any personal property found after a group has left the centre will be retained for 1 month and then disposed of if no claim has been made.


Refund Policy

We are not required to provide a refund if you change your mind. We require a booking deposit in order to hold your dates and fulfill availability requirements. If your cancellation happens more than three months out from your selected dates we will refund your deposit in full. Loss of deposit may occur if less notice is given (see Cancellation above).

We encourage customers if they have any concerns to raise them immediately so they may be addressed both relating to conference centre bookings and accommodation.
